ALITA 7016 Pultruded Bolt Specialist Resin

CategoryPultrusion ResinCodeALITA 7016

Overview

ALITA 7016 is an orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin primarily synthesized from phthalic anhydride. As a specialized pultrusion resin, it features low viscosity, fast curing, and exceptional mechanical strength. The resulting FRP bolts and rods possess high tensile properties and elongation, making them highly suitable for demanding infrastructure supports.

Features

  • Applications: Optimized for pultruding coal mine support bolts, subway insulation pull-rods, and infrastructure rock anchorages.
  • Formula: Contains no wax, promoters, or thixotropic agents.
  • Curing System: For pultrusion, BPO (0.5-2.0%) and TBPB (0.5-1.5%) are recommended. For SPI testing, Enox BPO-50F (2%) is used.

Storage & Handling

  • Shrinkage Control: For thick-section pultrusion profiles, adding low-shrinkage additives is recommended to minimize stress and prevent cracking.
  • Storage & Shelf Life: Store below 25°C (77°F). Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources. Keep containers sealed. Shelf life is 6 months under standard conditions.
  • Safety: Flammable hazardous material. Wear appropriate protective clothing and eyewear.
