ALITA 239 is a high-performance unsaturated polyester resin primarily synthesized from isophthalic acid, featuring medium viscosity and high reactivity.

Gel Time Test Condition: 25℃ constant temperature water bath. Add 0.9g accelerator (1% Co) and 0.9g M-50 (Nouryon) to 50g of resin.

Experimental Notes:
1. Casting method follows GB/T 8237-2005.
2. Curing system: Accelerator 0.6% Co Naph 1.0% + Curing agent Enox BPO-50F 1.0%.
3. Post-treatment: Room temp 24h + 60℃ 3h + 110℃ 2h.

Usage Instructions

1. Composition: ALITA 239 resin does not contain wax, accelerators, or thixotropic agents.
2. Recommended Pultrusion Formulation: Suggest using BPO curing agent (0.5-2.0%) and TBPB curing agent (0.5-1.5%). The actual selection should comprehensively consider equipment specifications, product thickness, process temperature, and pultrusion speed.
3. Shrinkage Control: When manufacturing thick-walled products, it is recommended to add low-shrinkage additives to reduce shrinkage risk.
4. Selection Guidance: For applications in strongly corrosive environments, choosing Epoxy Vinyl Ester ALITA 901 resin is recommended.

Storage & Handling

  • Safety Protection: Avoid skin and eye contact; must wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles during operation.
  • Environmental Control: Strongly recommended to store in a cool place below 25℃ (77℉). Keep away from direct sunlight, fire sources, and steam pipes.
  • Management: Keep containers sealed; prevent moisture absorption and styrene monomer evaporation. Manage stock following the "First-In, First-Out" principle.
