Overview
ALITA 239L Modified Isophthalic UPR (Premixed Low Shrinkage / Pultrusion Special)
Category:Pultrusion ResinCode:ALITA 239L
Applications
ALITA 239L is a modified isophthalic type unsaturated polyester resin specifically designed for pultrusion molding processes. This resin is premixed with a low shrinkage additive on an isophthalic base, aimed at providing superior dimensional stability.
- Core Features: Exhibits medium viscosity and high reactivity. Due to the added shrinkage compensation components, it significantly reduces internal stress and cracking tendencies.
- Physical Advantages: Provides excellent mechanical strength, good chemical resistance, low fracture sensitivity, and extra-long fatigue life.
- Appearance Quality: The finished product surface is smooth, with superior heat resistance and excellent tintability.
- Application Areas: Suitable for precision pultruded profiles with extremely high requirements for dimensional control, long-term stability, and appearance quality.

Experimental Notes:
1. Casting method follows GB/T 8237-2005.
2. Curing system: 0.6% Co Naph 1.0% + Enox BPO-50F 1.0%.
3. Post-treatment: Room temp 24h + 60℃ 3h + 110℃ 2h.
Reference Formulation
1. Composition: ALITA 239L resin does not contain wax, accelerators, or thixotropic agents.
2. Recommended Pultrusion Formulation: Suggest using BPO curing agent (0.5-2.0%) and TBPB curing agent (0.5-1.5%). Actual selection should be dynamically adjusted based on specific equipment, product specifications, process temperature, and pultrusion speed.
3. Performance Advantage: Compared to standard isophthalic resins, 239L more effectively suppresses surface sink marks and internal stresses when producing thick-walled or complex cross-section profiles due to its built-in low-shrinkage component.
Storage & Handling
- Personal Protection: Avoid skin and eye contact; wear necessary protective equipment and apparel during operation.
- Temperature Control: Strongly recommended to store in a stable environment below 25℃ (77℉).
- Environmental Requirements: Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources like steam pipes. Outdoor storage is strictly prohibited to prevent moisture contamination.
- Management: Keep containers sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer (styrene) evaporation loss. Follow the "First-In, First-Out" principle.
