Overview

ALITA 901P Pre-accelerated Vinyl Ester Resin

CategoryAnti-corrosion ResinCodeALITA 901P

Features

ALITA 901P is a pre-accelerated Bisphenol A type epoxy vinyl ester resin, primarily synthesized from epoxy resin and methacrylic acid. It features medium viscosity and activity.

  • Performance Characteristics: Belongs to Chemical Corrosion Resistant (CEE) materials, with exceptionally high mechanical strength and outstanding corrosion resistance.
  • Resistance: At temperatures up to 100℃, it effectively resists erosion by most acids, alkalis, and salt solutions.
  • Process Applicability: Suitable for hand lay-up, spray-up, and filament winding processes.
  • Application Areas: Also used in producing glass flake linings, filled linings, and coating compounds.

Curing Instructions:
* Casting production follows GB/T 8237-2005.
* Curing formulation: Resin / Butanox LPT = 100 / 1.5.
* Curing schedule: RT 24h + 60℃ 3h + 120℃ 2h.
* Data in table are typical values and should not be seen as specs.

Usage Instructions

1. Composition: ALITA 901P resin already contains accelerator, but contains no wax or thixotropic agents.
2. Recommended Curing System:
  • Standard environment: MEKP (Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide) curing agent 1-3%.
  • Severe environment (low temp, high hum.): Recommended additional 10% DMA (Dimethylaniline) 0.5-2.0%, with 50% BPO paste 2-4%.
  • Note: Final dosage should be determined by experiments based on site conditions.
3. Selection Guidance: Refer to our "Heat & Chemical Resistance Table" and confirm with testing.
4. Post-curing: Crucial for FRP in corrosive environments. Must be fully cured before use.

Storage & Handling

  • Safety: Contains harmful components if mishandled. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; use protective equipment.
  • Storage: Strongly recommended to store indoors below 25℃. Keep away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  • Environment: Outdoor storage strictly prohibited. Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer evaporation. Follow "FIFO" principle.
