Overview
ALITA 901 Vinyl Ester Resin
Category:Anti-corrosion ResinCode:ALITA 901
Features
ALITA 901 resin is a Bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, primarily synthesized from epoxy resin and methacrylic acid.
- Performance Characteristics: Features medium viscosity and activity. Belongs to Chemical Corrosion Resistant (CEE) materials, exhibiting high mechanical strength and outstanding corrosion resistance.
- Resistance: At temperatures up to 100℃, it can resist corrosion from most acids, alkalis, and salt solutions.
- Applications: Suitable for manufacturing various chemical equipment requiring resistance to acid, alkali, and salt corrosion (such as pipes, vessels, storage tanks). Also used for producing high-quality FRP molds and other FRP products.

Usage Instructions
1. Composition: ALITA 901 resin does not contain wax, accelerators, or thixotropic agents.
2. Recommended Curing System:
- Routine: Pure cobalt accelerators 0.5-4.0%, MEKP (Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide) curing agent 1-3%.
- Severe Environments (Low Temp, High Hum.): Recommended 10% DMA (Dimethylaniline) liquid 0.5-2.0% with 50% BPO (Benzoyl Peroxide) paste 2-4%.
- Special Note: Actual dosage of curing agent and accelerator should be determined by experiments based on site conditions.
3. Selection Guidance: Selection of heat and chemical resistant resins should follow our "Heat & Chemical Resistance Table" and be confirmed by testing.
4. Post-curing: Crucial for FRP products in corrosive environments. Must be fully cured before use.
Storage & Handling
- Safety: Contains harmful components if mishandled. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; wear protective equipment.
- Storage: Strongly recommended to store below 25℃. Avoid direct sunlight or proximity to steam pipes.
- Environment: Do not store outdoors. Keep containers sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Follow "FIFO" principle.
