Overview

ALITA 199 Unsaturated Polyester Resin

CategoryAnti-corrosion ResinCodeALITA 199

Features

ALITA 199 is an isophthalic unsaturated polyester resin, primarily composed of isophthalic acid, fumaric acid, and standard glycols. This resin is dissolved in styrene cross-linking monomer and features medium viscosity and high reactivity.

  • Performance Characteristics: Belongs to the heat-resistant HE type resin. It offers good acid resistance, extremely high heat resistance, and excellent strength and rigidity.
  • Applications: Suitable for manufacturing various FRP products and FRP molds with high heat resistance requirements.

Usage Instructions

1. Composition: ALITA 199 resin contains wax, but contains no accelerator or thixotropic agent.
2. Selection: When selecting heat and chemical resistant resins, consider the actual use media and temperature. Please refer to our company's "Heat and Chemical Resistance Media Query Table" for selection and confirm through experiments.
3. Full Cure: Post-curing treatment of heat and corrosion-resistant FRP products is crucial. Products must be fully cured before being put into use.

Storage & Handling

  • Safety Protection: This resin contains components that may be harmful if handled improperly. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and necessary protective equipment must be worn during operation.
  • Storage Environment: It is strongly recommended to store indoors at a constant temperature below 25℃. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources such as steam pipes.
  • Waterproofing: To prevent moisture contamination, do not store outdoors. Keep containers sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer (e.g., styrene) loss.
  • Turnover: Follow the "First-In-First-Out" principle.
