Features

ALITA 197 resin is a Bisphenol A epoxy modified unsaturated polyester resin, primarily composed of D-33 monomer and epoxy resin.

  • Performance Characteristics: Features medium viscosity and high reactivity, belonging to the CEE category for chemical corrosion resistance. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance (especially alkali resistance), high mechanical strength, and high heat distortion temperature.
  • Applications: Suitable for manufacturing FRP pipes, containers, storage tanks, and other chemical equipment that require certain heat resistance and chemical corrosion resistance.

Curing Notes:
1. Casting process follows GB/T 8237-2005. Curing system: 0.5% Cobalt Octoate accelerator + 2.0% Butanox M-50 curing agent.
2. Cast post-treatment: RT 24h 60℃ 2h 80℃ 2h.
3. FRP product post-treatment: RT 24h 60℃ 3h 110℃ 3h.

Usage Instructions

1. ALITA 197 resin contains no wax, accelerator, or thixotropic agent.
2. For applications requiring higher heat and corrosion resistance, ALITA Vinyl Ester 901 resin is recommended.
3. When selecting heat and chemical resistant resins, please refer to our company's "Heat and Chemical Resistance Media Query Table" based on the actual use media and temperature, and confirm through experiments.
4. Full curing of corrosion-resistant FRP products is particularly important, and products must be fully cured before being put into use.

Storage & Handling

  • Safety: This resin contains components that may be harmful if handled improperly. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and necessary protective equipment must be worn.
  • Storage: It is recommended to store in a constant temperature environment below 25℃. Avoid direct sunlight or proximity to steam pipes. Outdoor storage is strictly prohibited to prevent moisture contamination.
  • Sealing: Containers must be tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer volatilization. Follow the "First-In-First-Out" inventory turnover principle.
