Properties

ALITA 5011-11-1 is a halogen-free, non-pre-accelerated acrylic acid based unsaturated polyester resin. It combines the excellent performance of acrylic acid with the durability of unsaturated polyester resins.

  • Core Features: This resin is a key component for filled flame retardant resin systems.
  • Applications: Suitable for Hand Lay-up, Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM), and Vacuum Infusion processes.

Experimental Notes:
1. Curing Conditions: Cured at room temperature for 24 hours, followed by 24 hours post-curing at 80℃.
2. Filled System: Filled system based on 100 parts (phr) Aluminium Hydroxide (ATH).

Storage & Handling

  • Safety Protection: Resin can be harmful; avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Storage Temperature: Strong recommended to store in a stable environment below 25℃.
  • Prohibitions: Keep away from heat sources (direct sunlight, steam pipes, etc.) to prevent premature polymerization.
  • Management: Keep containers tightly sealed and follow the "FIFO" principle.
