Applications

ALITA 132 is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic general-purpose unsaturated polyester resin. It is primarily synthesized from phthalic anhydride, propylene glycol, and styrene.

  • Features: Low viscosity, good glass fiber wetting properties, and excellent thixotropic processing performance. Cured products exhibit good mechanical strength.
  • Certification: Certified by the China Classification Society (CCS).
  • Applications: Suitable for hand lay-up or spray processes to produce various FRP products, such as:
  • Transportation: FRP vehicles and components.
  • Marine: Fishing boats, yachts, lifeboats.

Seasonal Grades & Wax Content Notes:

  • W Series (Winter): Suitable for Nov to Mar.
  • M Series (Spring/Autumn): Suitable for Apr-May and Sep-Oct.
  • S Series (Summer): Suitable for Jun-Aug.
  • Wax Content: Suffix "N" indicates Wax Containing; without "N" indicates Non-waxed.

Notes:
1. Specimen preparation follows GB 8237-87.
2. Curing system: 1% Butanox M-50 curing agent.
3. Post-curing: 60℃ 2h + 80℃ 2h.

Storage & Handling

  • Safety Protection: Resin contains harmful ingredients; wear protective equipment and avoid contact with skin/eyes.
  • Environment: Strongly recommended to store in a stable environment below 25℃.
  • Storage Taboos: Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or steam pipes. No outdoor storage.
  • Sealing: Keep sealed to prevent monomer loss. Follow "FIFO" principle.
