ALITA 2085PT Orthophthalic Pre-accelerated Thixotropic Resin

ALITA 2085PT is an orthophthalic-type, pre-accelerated, and thixotropic unsaturated polyester resin synthesized from phthalic anhydride, maleic anhydride, and standard glycols. It features low viscosity and medium reactivity, offering an excellent balance between structural performance and processability.

• Note: This resin contains thixotropic agents and accelerators; it does not contain wax.

Note: Gel time measured in 25°C water bath, 50g resin with 1.0g M-50 (Akzo Nobel) curing agent.

Note: Thixotropic agents may settle slightly during storage; stir thoroughly before use to ensure consistency. For higher-performance marine functional barriers, ALITA 2094PT (Isophthalic) is recommended.

• Storage: Store indoors in a cool, ventilated area below 25°C. Avoid fire, heat sources, and direct sunlight. Keep containers sealed to prevent moisture ingress and monomer loss.
• Shelf Life: 6 months under standard conditions; 3 months for resin containing accelerators.
• Safety: Classified as Class 3 flammable hazardous material. Handle with appropriate protective gear and ventilation.
