Applications
ALITA 196 is an unsaturated polyester resin based on phthalic anhydride, featuring medium viscosity and medium reactivity.
- Food Safety: Complies with GB 31604 food hygiene standards. Suitable for manufacturing food containers, non-toxic/non-polluting FRP products, and storage tanks/bins for food/grain processing and preservation.
- Industry Certification: Complies with China Classification Society (CCS) certification requirements.
- Performance Features: Low shrinkage, featuring good strength, rigidity, impact resistance, and comprehensive mechanical properties.
- Applications: Suitable for hand lay-up process to manufacture general FRP products, cooling towers, dilute acid containers, FRP vehicle shells, and marine components.

Experimental Notes:
1. Casting: 0.5% cobalt accelerator + 2.0% M-50 curing agent. Post-curing: RT 24h + 60℃ 2h + 80℃ 2h.
2. FRP: Post-curing: RT 24h + 60℃ 3h + 110℃ 3h.
Usage Instructions
1. Composition: Contains wax; does not contain accelerator or thixotropic agent.
2. Selection Recommendation: For applications requiring higher heat and corrosion resistance, ALITA Vinyl Ester 901 resin is recommended.
Storage & Handling
- Safety Protection: Avoid skin and eye contact; personal protective equipment must be worn.
- Storage Temperature: Recommended to store in a stable environment below 25℃ (77℉).
- Environmental Requirements: No outdoor storage; keep away from direct sunlight, steam pipes, or other heat sources. Keep sealed to reduce monomer loss.
- Management: Follow the "FIFO" principle for inventory turnover.
