Overview
ALITA 191TP(N) is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, general-purpose unsaturated polyester resin. It features a moderate liquid viscosity, excellent wetting and impregnation capability for glass fibers, and guarantees robust mechanical strength alongside high elongation at break properties for final fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) products.
- Applications: Suitable for the hand lay-up molding process of various general-purpose fiberglass-reinforced composite structures and industrial items.
- Formulation Note: ALITA 191TP represents the pre-waxed formulation variant, whereas ALITA 191TPN represents the non-waxed formulation variant.

Sample Preparation & Post-Curing:
1. Pure Resin Cast: Cured at 25°C with 1.0% Cobalt accelerator (0.8% Co/oct) and 1.5% Curing Agent (Butanox M-50). Post-curing: RT × 24h + 60°C × 3h + 80°C × 2h.
2. FRP Laminate Post-curing: RT × 24h + 60°C × 3h + 110°C × 2h.

Usage Instructions
- Thixotropic Agent Settlement: During storage, thixotropic agents may settle. Stir the drum thoroughly before use.
- Gel Time Adjustments: Under high temperature, gel time contracts. Never reduce the hardener ratio below recommended safety levels; use specialized commercial retarders/inhibitors instead.
- Surface Tack: High humidity or temperatures can cause air-inhibition. Incorporating a proper amount of specialized wax solution is recommended to prevent surface stickiness.
Storage & Handling
- Storage: Containers must be tightly sealed and stored indoors in a cool, dry, dark warehouse below 25°C. Keep away from heat sources and open flames. The shelf life is 3 months.
- Logistics: Transport must strictly follow dangerous chemical regulations.
