Overview

ALITA 520 Neopentyl Glycol (NPG) Type Unsaturated Polyester Resin for SMC/BMC

CategorySMC/BMC ResinCodeALITA 520

Applications

ALITA 520 is a neopentyl glycol (NPG) type unsaturated polyester resin specifically designed for SMC/BMC molding processes. The resin system features high reactivity and low liquid viscosity, combined with excellent colorability and controlled thickening behavior. Cured products exhibit flat surfaces with high gloss, superior water and heat resistance, high mechanical strength, and excellent electrical insulation properties. Widely used in electrical components, industrial parts, sanitary ware, and automotive composite structures.

  • Processing Features: High reactivity, low liquid viscosity, excellent thickening consistency, and outstanding pigment colorability.
  • Product Advantages: Cured parts present flat surfaces with high gloss, superior water and heat resistance, high mechanical strength, and good electrical insulation.
  • Primary Applications: Widely used in SMC/BMC composite applications including electrical components, industrial structural parts, sanitary ware, and automotive parts.
