Applications
ALITA 508B is an orthophthalic-based unsaturated polyester resin featuring medium-high viscosity and high reactivity.
- Process Advantage: Effectively prevents defects such as porosity in BMC (Bulk Moulding Compound) processes.
- Physical Properties: Features outstanding heat resistance (HDT up to 110℃), along with excellent mechanical and electrical properties.
- Primary Uses: Suitable for power electronic products with medium-to-high voltage requirements, such as:
- Insulators, Electrical Switches
- Electronic Component Encapsulation, etc.

Experimental Notes:
1. Casting method follows GB/T 8237-2005.
2. Curing system: 0.6% Cobalt Naphthenate accelerator + Butanox M-50 curing agent 1.0%.
3. Post-curing scheme: RT 24h + 60℃ 3h + 120℃ 1h.
Usage Instructions
1. Composition: ALITA 508B resin does not contain wax, accelerator, or thixotropic agent.
2. Stability Control: To ensure the storage stability of SMC/BMC materials, it is recommended to add stabilizers during the production process.
Storage & Handling
- Safety: Avoid contact with skin and eyes; personal protective equipment (clothing, gloves, goggles) must be worn during operation.
- Environmental Control: Strongly recommended to store in a stable environment below 25℃.
- Prohibitions: Keep away from direct sunlight, steam pipes, and other heat sources. Outdoor storage is strictly prohibited to prevent moisture contamination and monomer loss.
- Inventory Management: Keep containers sealed and follow the "FIFO" principle.
