Applications
ALITA 1578 is a high-performance thickenable vinyl ester resin specifically developed for molding processes. It combines the excellent mechanical properties of epoxy resins with the strong chemical resistance of vinyl esters.
- Applicable Processes: Particularly suitable for SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound), BMC (Bulk Moulding Compound), and HSMC (High Strength Moulding Compound).
- Performance Advantages: Provides excellent chemical stability, high mechanical strength, and good construction flowability.
- Typical Applications:
- Sports Equipment: High-performance rackets, snowboard components, etc.
- Automotive Industry: Structural parts, heat-resistant components around the engine.

Post-curing Instruction: After room temperature placement for 24 hours, post-curing at 105℃ for 2 hours is required for optimal performance.
Storage & Handling
1. Packaging: Provided in 200kg (55 gal) or 20kg (5 gal) steel drums.
2. Environment: Store in a cool, ventilated place away from direct sunlight. Vinyl resins are light-sensitive; seal promptly after use.
3. Safety Warning: This product is a flammable liquid; keep away from heat, fire, and radiation sources. Smoking and open flames are strictly prohibited in storage areas.
