ALITA 9065 Winding-Grade UPR (High Strength / Heat Resistant Type)

CategoryWinding ResinCodeALITA 9065

Overview

ALITA Steady 9065 is an orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin specifically designed for high-performance composite products. It combines high mechanical strength, excellent heat resistance, and superior water resistance.

  • Process Advantages: Features low viscosity, enabling rapid wetting of glass fibers. This ensures a dense internal structure and minimizes bubbles, resulting in higher strength and toughness in the finished product.
  • Application Areas:
  • FRP Pipes: Particularly suitable for the structural layers of pipes manufactured via filament winding (including sand-filled) processes.
  • FRP Tanks: Widely used for structural reinforcement layers in various industrial storage tanks.

Field Case Study (DN1000)

In testing focused on DN1000 specifications (thickness 21.1mm) sand-filled pipes, ALITA 9065 demonstrated exceptional stiffness performance:

  • Ring Stiffness: Measured value of 13480.9.
  • Flexure Test: Successfully passed (PASS) testing under both A and B flexure conditions.
  • Failure Strength: Failure load reached 27.65 kN, with a failure deflection of 164.08mm.

Storage & Handling

  • Temperature Control: Recommended storage in a cool, ventilated place below 25℃, avoiding direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Sealing & Anti-Corrosion: Keep containers sealed; prevent moisture ingress and performances changes due to monomer (styrene) evaporation.
  • Shelf Life: Under specified conditions, the shelf life is typically 3 months (depending on the season).
