ALITA 48# Fire-Retardant Gelcoat

Features

ALITA 48# is a reactive fire-retardant polyester gelcoat. It features excellent fire retardancy (high oxygen index, low smoke density), superior mechanical properties, excellent application characteristics, and water resistance. It is recommended for the manufacture of lifeboats, train spare parts, and other FRP products requiring fire safety. Suitable for spraying or hand lay-up.

Applications

Cure System: Cobalt type accelerator and MEKP are recommended.
Process Conditions: Temperature of workshop, raw materials, and mold should be above 15°C with relative humidity below 70%. Suitable for spraying or hand lay-up.
Applications: Recommended for lifeboats, train components, construction molds, and other FRP products requiring high fire safety.
Note: Available in transparent, white, and various colors. All colored gelcoats are pre-promoted.

Storage & Handling

Packaging: 20kg pails.
Storage: Must be stored in a cool place below 25°C in the shade. Shelf life is up to 3 months.
