Overview

ALITA 196MG Unsaturated Polyester Resin

CategoryAnchoring ResinCodeALITA 196MG

Features

ALITA 196MG is an unsaturated polyester resin synthesized from orthophthalic anhydride, fumaric acid, and standard glycols, pre-dissolved in styrene and other cross-linking monomers.

  • Core Features: Medium viscosity, high reactivity, high strength, and excellent toughness.
  • Process Advantages: Fast curing speed and good surface drying performance.
  • Applications: Excellent water resistance, particularly suitable for general anchoring (chemical bolts), ensuring stable and reliable performance.

By adjusting the ratio of Dimethylaniline (accelerator) and peroxide (catalyst), the resin can be conveniently formulated into anchoring products with different gel times.

Storage & Handling

  • Transport: National regulations for hazardous chemical management (Chapter V) must be strictly followed.
  • Environment: Store indoors in a cool, ventilated place below 25℃. Keep away from heat, flame, and radiation.
  • Sealing: Containers must be tightly sealed to prevent moisture ingress and direct sunlight.
  • Isolation: Store separately from oxidizers, acids, and alkalis.
  • Shelf Life:
  • Below 25℃: 6 months for base resin; 3 months for pre-accelerated resin.
  • Below 30℃: 3 months for base resin; 1.5 months for pre-accelerated resin.
