3. Precautionary Statements

Prevention Rules

  • Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. No smoking.
  • Keep container tightly closed. Take action to prevent static discharges.
  • Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray.
  • Wash hands and other exposed areas thoroughly after handling.
  • Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
  • Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.

Action / Response

  • IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
  • IF ON SKIN: Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water [or shower].
  • IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.
  • If you feel unwell, seek medical advice/attention immediately.

4. First Aid Measures

Eye Contact

Flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical help if feeling unwell.

Skin Contact

Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Wash skin with plenty of soap and water. Get medical help if feeling unwell.

Inhalation

Remove patient to fresh air immediately and keep comfortable for breathing. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing stops, perform CPR. Seek immediate medical attention.

Ingestion

Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician or poison control center immediately.

Important Note

If the substance is ingested or inhaled, do not perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Ensure medical personnel are aware of the product's hazard characteristics and take self-protection measures.
