Overview
ALITA 9962R is an orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin with low viscosity and high reactivity. Its refractive index is specifically matched to E-glass fibers, allowing maximum light transmission and diffusion in continuously produced FRP panels.
Features
- Optically Matched Refractive Index: Delivers maximum light transmission and uniform light diffusion, avoiding harsh hot spots.
- Rapid Roving Wet-out: Very low viscosity (160-180 mPa·s) guarantees fast fiber wetting on high-speed continuous lines (4-6 m/min).
- Mechanical Integrity: Offers excellent impact strength against hailstones and high wind pressures, along with reliable weather durability.

Storage & Handling
- Line Speed: Does not contain wax, accelerators, or thixotropic agents. The optimal production line speed is generally 4-6 m/min, depending on heating zones and thickness.
- Storage: Store below 25°C in a cool, ventilated area away from fire. Keep sealed. Shelf life is 6 months under standard conditions (3 months if temperature exceeds 30°C).
