ALITA 8882NLE Flexible Toughened Bisphenol A Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin
Category:ToughenedCode:ALITA 8882NLE
Overview
ALITA 8882NLE is a flexible toughened Bisphenol A type epoxy vinyl ester resin. It is characterized by higher viscosity, medium reactivity, smooth heat release, minimal shrinkage, and exceptional toughness, recognized as the grade with the best toughness in the current vinyl ester resin family.
- Ultra-High Elongation: Neat castings achieve an elongation of 8.0% - 12.0%, providing excellent crack resistance, tear resistance, and impact strength.
- Corrosion Resistance: High chemical durability against acids, salts, and especially alkalis, outperforming fumaric acid type vinyl esters. Performance matches Derakane 411-350.
- Low Curing Stress: Flat curing exotherm profile reduces internal micro-cracks and cures with extremely low shrinkage.
