Overview
ALITA 7510 Isophthalic-Neopentyl Glycol Unsaturated Polyester Resin
Category:Casting & Sanitary Ware ResinCode:ALITA 7510
Overview
ALITA 7510 is an Isophthalic-Neopentyl Glycol (Iso-NPG) type unsaturated polyester resin, dissolved in styrene. It features high viscosity and high reactivity. It is specifically designed for high-performance casting and Quartz Stone applications requiring superior mechanical strength, heat resistance, and chemical durability.
Features
- Water-Heat Resistance: High-quality Iso-NPG formulation resists yellowing and moisture cracking during hot-cold water cycles.
- Superior Mechanical Modulus: Outstanding stiffness and flexural modulus ensure durability of cast stones.
- Applications: High-end Quartz Stone kitchen countertops, translucent artificial stone decorations, filament winding, pultrusion gratings, and PVC-to-FRP structural bonding.

Curing Characteristics
- Quartz Stone Casting: Medium-temperature hot curing is recommended. Use TBPO (≥97%) at 1% dosage. Curing profile: 80±5°C for no less than 2.5 hours. To optimize bonding, use KH-570 coupling agent at 2% of resin dosage.
- Cool-down Protocol: Cured panels must cool down steadily to room temperature before stack loading to avoid warp or stress cracking. Edge cutting should only occur after full post-curing.
- Storage: Store below 25°C in a cool, ventilated area, away from light and fire. Recommended shelf life is 3-6 months. Packaging: 220kg metal drums.
