Overview
ALITA 5130 Air-Drying Putty Resin for Galvanized Sheets (Cost-Effective Type)
Category:Putty ResinCode:ALITA 5130
Applications
ALITA 5130 is an unsaturated polyester resin specifically designed for manufacturing air-drying putties (body fillers/atom ash), with a particular emphasis on adhesion to galvanized steel sheets.
- Core Advantages: Offers excellent sandability and adhesion. Its cost advantage makes it an ideal choice for the mid-to-low-end repair market.
- Surface Characteristics: Good air-drying properties; the surface remains dry after curing and does not stick to sandpaper, greatly facilitating subsequent leveling processes.
- Application Areas:
- Body repair for cars, trucks, and agricultural tractors.
- Surface filling for machine tools and equipment.
- Repair for yachts and various metal surfaces.

Usage Instructions
1. Application Adjustment: When applying in high-temperature environments, if the gel speed is too fast, do not reduce the amount of curing agent (to avoid incomplete curing). Instead, add an appropriate amount of inhibitor/retarder (such as ALITA T-1) as needed.
2. Substrate Treatment: Although ALITA 5130 has good adhesion to galvanized sheets, ensuring the substrate surface is free of oil, moisture, and rust before application will yield the best results.
Storage & Handling
- Storage Environment: Must be stored in a warehouse below 25℃, away from fire, heat sources, and radiation.
- Safety Compliance: Transportation must strictly comply with the "Regulations on the Safety Management of Hazardous Chemicals."
- Shelf Life: From the date of production, the shelf life is 3 months under compliant storage conditions.
- Important Note: Always read the Product Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use.
