Overview
ALITA 1005NSM Styrene-Free Unsaturated Polyester Resin (Foam-Compatible)
Category:Styrene-Free ResinCode:ALITA 1005NSM
Features
ALITA 1005NSM is a medium viscosity, medium reactivity, styrene-free unsaturated polyester resin specifically formulated for direct application on foam substrates.
- Core Advantage: Non-corrosive to various foams (PS, PE, PVAC, PU, etc.), preventing any erosion or collapse of the foam structure.
- Low Shrinkage: Exhibits exceptionally low curing shrinkage, ensuring excellent interfacial bonding and dimensional stability between the laminate and foam core.
- Process Friendly: Ideal for hand lay-up multi-process applications on foam cores.
Applications
- Water Sports Equipment: Manufacture of surfboards, paddleboards, windsurfers, and other foam-core products.
- Marine Components: Lightweight marine parts using EPS/XPS foam substrates.
- Sculptures & Models: Bonding and reinforcement of foam-based large-scale sculptures, architectural models, and industrial prototypes.
